Even though the many third set tie breaks that have already been played in
the early rounds here at the Mixed State League Championships are causing a
lot of excitement, that’s not the electricity I’m talking about.
Fort Discovery,
the National Science Center’s incredible, interactive environment on
Augusta’s Riverwalk contains the electricity I’m talking about here. It’s
worth a stop if you’ve got a little time on your hands between matches.
Fort Discovery fires the imaginations of children and adults by making math,
science and technology come alive. Your Fort Discovery experience will be
one to remember with 250 hands-on exhibits, live demonstrations and
workshops, virtual realities and much more!
Julie Butler,
State Marketing and Initiatives Coordinator at the National Science Center
said, “Fort Discovery has gadgets, gizmos, and fun challenges, galore! I
work here and I still discover new, fun things to investigate – every day!
Like our slogan says: Fort Discovery, the smart place to have fun!”
